Ramadan Learning, Part-2

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

#Ramadan_Learning_2

Alhamdulillah, it takes 32 Raka'at to complete Surah Al-Baqara.

From Today's discussion, we have came to know that: Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala give direction us how to give Sadkah in between Ayah 261 to 265 of Surah Al-Baqara. An ayah about Sadkah attracts me a lot. Wanna give it below.

Allah swt. said:

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing. (2:261)

See these words! A seed, seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. That means 7*100= 700 (Neki)! SubhanAllah! In next line, clearly said that Allah 'multiplies' 'His Reward' for whom He wills. ^_^ So, we have to give more and more Sadkah in this holy month if it is possible.

Some people give Sadkah to gain his own popularity not for Allah swt. There's a hadith where Rashulullah (sm) said that: If we give sadkah by our right hand, our left hand wouldn't know that. That's the process. But positive thinking is that: If you have Haqq Niyah and wanna increase consciousness among people, it would be better to give Sadkah in Public. Allah swt. command us:

O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. (2:264)

To memorize Surah Al-Baqara is a huge staff for me. Only Ayatul Kursi in my memory. I have been waited for this during tilwat. LOL.

There are some du'as in last of Surah Al-Baqara, e.g.: Ayah 285 & 286. Allah swt clearly command us about making Loan in Ayah 282 & 283.

We have touched Surah Aal-i-Imran and continue it till Ayah 91 today. Alhamdulillah :)

Allah swt forbid us to make friendship with disbeliever in Ayah 28 of Surah Aal-i-Imran. Allah swt said:

Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination. (3:128)

Two consecutive beautiful Du'a, you can add in your To-Do list for Ramadan. See, Ayah no: 8-9.

#Dua_1

"Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower." (3:8)

#Dua_2

"Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise." (3:9)

See Ayah: 14, you will understand that which stuffs mesmerized us for this Duniya. Allah swt. said:

Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return. (3:14)

Another One: #Dua_3

Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire," (3:16)

We have to be patient, sincere and ask forgiveness before dawn; that means Tahajjud Salat, I reckon. Allah swt. said:

The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn. (3:17)

And I need to conclude here to quote another Ayah which comforts me.

He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. [Surah Aal-i-Imran, Ayah:74]

May Allah swt. give us ability to give more Sadkah and toufiq to read & understand the message of Al-Qur'an sincerly in this holy month of Ramadan. Ameen.

Jazakumullahu Khair :)
